The distribution of globular-cluster ages and correlations between cluster ages and cluster (M/H) values and orbital parameters contain very direct evidence relating to the physical conditions during and the time scale for the early epoch in the formation of the Galaxy. The difficulties of measuring relative cluster ages with a precision equal to or less than 1 Gyr are discussed and a new method for estimating relative ages is described. A program which is in progress to determine the distribution of cluster ages in the Galaxy is described.
