The design concept and the structure of a differential dome-seeing monitor (DDSM), developed at the National Astronomical Observatory are presented. DDSM utilizes a bright star and a laser as light sources to measure simultaneously the atmospheric wave-front aberrations outside and inside the telescope enclosure. Comparative measurements showed that one can clearly reduce the 'tube seeing' by using a windscreen to block the natural wind passing through the light path in the telescope tube.
