Recent spectroscopic observations of 106 quasar candidates made with the MMT and the Steward Observatory 2.2-m telescopes are reported. Using the entire sample of 374 quasars with measured redshifts, correlations of the strengths and other quantities are presented. Decreasing emission line strength with increasing continuum luminosity (the 'Baldwin effect') is less pronounced in this sample than in some other surveys.
