We have used the STIS NUV MAMA detector aboard HST to obtain objective-prism spectroscopy of NGC 604, the second largest giant H II region in the Local Group, which is located in M33, Several hundred WR, O, and B stellar spectra covering the range between 1300 and 3600 Å are visible in a 48 minute exposure. The spectra have been used to study the variations in the amount of extinction and in the extinction law itself as a function of position in the stellar cluster. The spectral classification of the brightest stars has been simultaneously obtained using the same data. We will discuss the techniques employed to reduce and analyze the spectra as well as our next scheduled observations and ideas for observing massive young stellar clusters using STIS NUV objective-prism spectroscopy.
