The Chandra X-ray observatory is unique in terms of its spatial resolution, but the transmission gratings have also provided a huge leap forward in spectral resolution. Active Galactic Nuclei have provided prime targets for the gratings, and a wealth of new emission and absorption features have been discovered in AGN spectra. The high sensitivity has also enabled new, faint populations to be discovered and characterized. These new AGN observations will be discussed.
