Eclipsing Binaries: Visual Observations

Scientific paper

Visual observations of the long period eclipsing binary OW Geminorum during its 2002 eclipse were obtained by six European observers. The time of minimum was computed using AVALON software and a linear regression was applied to the four O-C values obtained by direct observations since its discovery (1988). The following new ephemeris is suggested: min1 = 2449760.8570 + 1258.7233·E.
