Observations of radiowaves scattering, scintillations and Faraday rotation fluctuations show that plasma density and magnetic field irregularities in the solar wind acceleration region are elongated in the radial direction. Radial evolution of the MHD wave turbulence power spectra and the irregularities anisotropy is considered taking into account nonlinear wave-wave interactions and smooth gradients of the plasma parameters. It is shown that the observed irregularities anisotropy is formed initially in the chromosphere-corona transition layer and is retained up to heliocentric distances about 10 solar radii. The estimations of the irregularities axial ratio are in a good agreement with the observational data.
