The radial profile of temperature in the inner region of a black-hole accretion disk is investigated in detail and it is found (1) that the temperature does not decrease monotonically in the radial direction, rather, a peak exists near the inner edge of the disk, separated from it by a cooling region of a large temperature gradient and (2) that for increasing dimensionless angular momentum of the central black hole, the peak value and the average temperature gradient in the cooling region both increase while the radius of the peak value ring decreases, and the bolometric luminosity of accretion increases.
