Small spatial frequency expansions for the source function and radiative flux are obtained for a purely scattering, semi-infinite, two-dimensional medium. Both collimated and diffuse boundary conditions are analyzed. With these expansions, other expansions are obtained which are valid at large optical distances away from the incident radiation. Expansions are presented for a finite strip, circular disk and a Gaussian distribution.
