The homogeneous and isotropic cosmological solutions of a recently developed theory of gravity are discussed. There are no solutions corresponding to closed universes. The solutions corresponding to open universes predict an acceleration constant (q subzero) in the range from -0.03 to -0.45. The open universes with Euclidean space sections have no big bang and seem to be incompatible with observation.
