A photoelectric photometry program was used to study the flare activity and the quiescent variability of some BY Draconis stars, including Au Mic, HDE 319139, CC Eri, TW PsA, At Mic, and EQ Vir. The light curves of the flares were recorded by continuously monitoring the stars from 1 to 3 hours per night. The quiescent light level was measured by differential photometry in the UBV bands. All the stars exhibited flare incidence levels in the region of 1 percent of the stellar bolometric luminosity. Star TW PsA manifested a flare incidence level 10 times lower than that predicted for a star of its luminosity.
