The Galactic magnetic fields are a key agent for the cosmic rays to propagate. There have been many models for the Galactic magnetic fields, which have been used for the cosmic ray propagation studies. Here, I review the measurements of the magnetic fields in the disk, in the halo and near the center of our Milky Way galaxy. I emphasize that the measurements in the very limited Galactic volume leave a large parameter space for various models. We examined the deflection of ultra-high energy cosmic rays by different components of the modeled Galactic magnetic fields, and concluded that the unknown magnetic fields in the vast interstellar space are important to identify the source of ultra-high energy cosmic rays.
