We present 3D numerical simulations of the proto-planetary nebula Hen 3-1475, which presents a highly-collimated optical jet. Recently it has been suggested that the observational properties of Hen 3-1475 could be the result of the variability of the central source. The numerical simulations strongly reinforce the periodic variability of the ejection velocity, with a period of the order of 100 years. The predicted intensity maps and position-velocity diagrams successfully reproduce the overall observed morphology of the jet of Hen 3-1475.
