We present recent results from our ongoing snap-shot CO (1-0) emission survey of very young PPNe with the millimeter array of the Owens Valley Radio Observatory (OVRO). A total of 25 young-PPNe candidates, which were selected from our optical/NIR imaging/spectroscopic survey, have been observed so far with OVRO leading to a large CO and 2.6 mm-continuum emission detection rate (˜92% and 65%, respectively). From a preliminary analysis of the data we have obtained important information on the physical properties of the circumstellar envelopes of some of these objects.
