We request 6x10.5 hour sessions to image for the first time all known class I methanol masers located at declinations south of -35 deg. at 44 and 36 GHz. These observations will be the first interferometric observations of 36 GHz masers. Using the JCMT HARP-B data on the molecular environment of these masers we plan to search for association with outflows for a large sample of masers. We also plan to test a predicted correlation between the 44 to 36 GHz flux density ratio and the distance from the 6.7 GHz methanol or OH maser using a statistically significant sample. This survey is not sensitivity critical. It is able to deliver publishable results using a partially working or underperforming system, thus being an excellent test before proposing more complex detection experiments at 7mm.
