Solar Radio Bursts: Solar Microwave Bursts

The author discusses the time profiles of microwave bursts using 6 burst events with multi-frequencies data of the Beijing Astronomical Observatory. Based on Fourier transform techniques, he has cleared away the effects of the convolution which were caused by damping function of the resonance absorption and obtained the exciter profiles of solar radio bursts. These results show that the exciter profiles are very narrow and steep the widths of the half power and durations of them also become much shorter than the profiles of observations.
