Solar Microwave Bursts: Solar Flares

The time structure maxima of solar bursts in the microwave frequencies are not coincident in time. In general, the maximum emission is delayed towards lower frequencies. The time delays of multiple-peak structure of solar burst time-profile in cm wavelength range have been hardly discussed. The authors discuss this topic in terms of analysing April 27, 1981 solar burst. The results show that the time delays were caused mainly by the variation of magnetic field and spectral indices of non-thermal electrons, and that the sources of multiple-peak may be in the same loop.
