In densitometry of planetary negatives with high contrast coefficient, some specific errors appear because of the finite size of the scanning element. For an image of the Moon at full phase, it is shown that the values of errors can be of several percent, in regions of sharp change of photographic density, e.g., in the mare/highland boundary zones. It is emphasized that this kind of error does not exist in the direct photometry of the objects by CCD matrices.
