Light curves of FG Sge, constructed according to UBV observations during 298 nights over the period 1986-1991, are presented. Annual values of V, B - V, and U - B do not exhibit a significant trend over this period. Color-magnitude diagrams exhibit a marked scattering, although a brightness correlation with the color index is observed, and the star is redder at minima. The scattering may be due to the shock wave causing a hump on the light curve. Analysis of the periodicity of light variations shows a period increase with time that is especially noticeable during 1975-1979 and slower during 1984-1991. If the period variation reflects the cooling process, the decline in the star's temperature did not end in 1979, but still continues at a very slow rate.
