The iron abundance and microturbulent velocities in Arcturus, Canopus,
and alpha Cen A have been determined from FeI and FeII lines relative to
the Sun. Alpha Cen A is found to have an enhanced iron abundance, while
Canopus and Arcturus are found to have a deficiency of iron. The
behavior of the determined microturbulent velocities is discussed.
