We present Linear Energy Transfer (LET) spectra calculated for the 1990-1991 Combined Release and Radiation Effects Satellite (CRRES) mission using the Galactic Cosmic Ray (GCR) and Solar Energetic Particle (SEP) models developed for the CRRES/SPACERAD program and presented by Chen, et al. 1992 at this conference. We discuss how the spectra vary with changes in the galactic cosmic ray and solar energetic particle models. Finally, we illustrate the application and the significance of these results by using them to predict single event upset event rates in a sample integrated circuit memory device, a 256x4-bit bipolar static random access memory (RAM) (93L422).
