CCD photometry of the visual companion of the Cepheid FF Aql is presented. The magnitude and colors of the companion are V = 11.14 +/- 0.07 mag, B-V = 0.60 +/- 0.05 mag, and V-R = 0.39 +/- 0.04 mag. The separation is 6.89 +/- 0.18 arcsec and the position angle 143.9 +/- 2 deg. The companion is too bright and/or too red to be a ZAMS star at the distance of the Cepheid with the observed color, whether the Cepheid is pulsating in the fundamental mode or the first overtone. Only if the errors in the color are underestimated can the companion be a member of the FF Aql system. Positional measurements show apparent motion which is too large to be orbital motion. Thus, it is not likely that the 6 arcsec companion is physically associated with the Cepheid FF Aql.
