An empirical model of relative ion composition at 100-200 km is presented. The results of 43 midlatitude rocket mass spectrometer measurements at altitudes 100-200 km were used. Relative densities of three principal ions NO(+), O2(+), and O(+) in the sunlit atmosphere at middle latitudes are considered taking into account dependence on solar activity and season. A preliminary model of ion composition below 100 km is also considered.
