The asteroids 325 Heidelberga, 497 Iva, 558 Carmen, 687 Tinette, 766 Moguntia, 860 Ursina, 909 Ulla, 1280 Baillauda, and 1564 Srbija were observed by means of SpeX/IRTF in the 0.8-2.5µm spectral region. The chi square approach between the asteroids and the RELAB meteorites spectra was performed. With one exception, the asteroids present positive slopes, with no absorption features, in good agreement with the spectra of metallic meteorites. The values of NIR spectral slopes are within the values obtained for metallic meteorites. The asteroid 766 Moguntia presents a shallow large band around 1 µm estimated at 5% depth as compared to the continuum. The chi square and MGM techniques, and the Shkuratov scattering law applied to the observational data all suggest that 766 Moguntia is dominated by olivine, and that its spectrum is similar to those of CO/CV meteorites.
