An analysis of the spectral behaviour of the GRBs recorded by the BATSE experiment has been performed on the basis of the spectral hardness HR21 and HR32 evaluated in the energy ranges 25-50 50-100 and 50-100 100-300 keV respectively. The plot of the events in the HR 21 and HR32 plane shows a behaviour different for the two Classes of short and long GRBs. The distribution of the long events follows on the average an increasing power law, on the contrary the short event distribution shows decrease in HR21 when HR32 increases. This result suggests important differences in the physical scenario at the basis of the two Classes of events.
