A total of 18 days of photometric observations on the newly discovered δ Scuti star, HR 8851, in V band is presented. Frequency analysis was carried out carefully on these data and a two frequency solution, 3.57c/d and 4.28c/d was obtained. From uvbyβ photometry, the physical parameters were estimated. Based on all the information we have got, the evolutionary stage and possible pulsation modes of HR 8851 are discussed.
