M-type Mira models with a moderate deviation from solar metalliticy (2x
and 0.5x) have been computed and compared to solar-metallicity models.
Selected effects of abundance changes on pulsation properties,
atmospheric stratifications, spectral features (colors) and surface
brightness distributions are discussed.
