Analysis of ROTSE-III sky patrol fields reveals an unknown transient we designate ROTSE3 J160213.1-021311.7. The object was first detected May 28.94, 2006 by the ROTSE-IIIc telescope at the H.E.S.S. site in Namibia, at an unfiltered magnitude of 18.2+/-0.2. It was not detected on May 27.94 with a limiting magnitude of 18.5, and has not outburst previously in the ROTSE-III transient search. The transient brightened to 16.8+/-0.1 on May 29.92, and has faded to around 18th magnitude where it has remained for two days.
