Quasars, Galaxies Association

Scientific paper

Using the quasar sample from the Large Bright Quasar Survey (Foltz et
al. 1987) and galaxies of the Virgo cluster from the BST catalog
(Binggeli et al. 1985), we make use of the cross-correlation function
and find significant evidence for an association between quasars and
galaxies in the angular distance range 5'<θ<40'.
