Black holes with accretion disks are self-excited dynamos that generate
large electric and magnetic fields. Along the spin axis they emit
oppositely-directed narrow beams of high energy positrons and photons.
The beams emanating from super-holes are sufficiently powerful to
explain extragalactic radio sources.
