An area of 1450 square degree has been mapped at 21 cm wavelength in radio continuum using the Stockert 25 m telescope. The southern part of Loop IV was covered. The observations had to be carried out at elevations down to 8° (δ = -32°), which required special observing and reduction procedures to correct for strong atmospheric and ground radiation effects. We have achieved 40mK TB sensitivity in our final map.
