Results of (C-12)O J = 1 - 0 and HCO(+) J = 1 - 0 observations towards the supernova remnant G33.6 + 0.1 made with the NRAO 12-m telescope are presented. Strong CO emission was observed toward G33.6 + 0.1, with components over a wide range of velocities. Bright extended HCO(+) emission was detected at velocities near + 105 km/s, in the area of the eastern portion of the remnant, where there is corresponding CO emission from the adjacent molecular cloud at the same velocities. There are also several compact H II regions associated with the molecular cloud. The results provide a direct indication of interaction of this remnant with the adjacent molecular cloud.
