We review recent progress in the numerical study on the last phase of coalescing binary neutron stars in the general relativistic framework. First, current status for computation of quasiequilibrium states for binary neutron stars in close circular orbits is reviewed. Then, current status of numerical simulation for binary neutron star merger is summarized. Some numerical results recently computed are also presented.
