An analysis of the spectral energy distributions of distant galaxies
suggests that galaxy evolution has been detected as a redshift-dependent
change in the rest-frame spectra. The measured rate of color evolution
agrees with previous limits, and is in qualitative agreement with
synthesized galaxy models.
