Scientific paper

Mathematical modeling of the occultation of the generating region on the surface of a neutron star surface by the inner edge of the accretion disk is carried out. Calculation results are compared with the observed X-ray emission of Her X-1. This comparison made it possible to find constraints on a number of geometrical parameters of the Her X-1/HZ Her system.
