The diurnal and seasonal variations in the mass distribution of sporadic meteors are examined on the basis of more than 200,000 meteor echoes observed during 1965-1970. The diurnal variation of the s index has a minimal value (1.96) at 10-12 h Dushanbe standard time (DST), and maximal values (2.15-2.28) at 18-22 DST. The mean value of s is 2.1 +/- 0.1 in the mass range of 0.001-100 g. No definite pattern in the seasonal variation of the s index is observed.
