Candidates for planetary nebulae in the LMC are described with cooordinates and finding charts based on telescope observations utilizing objective prism plates. The present catalogue of LMC planetary nebulae doubles the previous number of candidates and increases the number in the northern regions of the LMC. Contradictions between the present data and those of previous candidate lists are discussed, and it is suggested that the completeness of the present survey varies with position in the LMC as well as certain flux types.
