A finding list of OH sky lines suitable for the wavelength calibration of infrared spectrometers is presented. The selection of the sky lines which are sufficiently bright and isolated was made on the basis of long slit infrared spectra collected at ESO. We also briefly discuss how this list could be used to choose the parameters of narrow band filters where it is of primary importance to minimize the contribution of strong sky lines to the background seen through the filter.
