Extensive observations of the radio galaxy IC 4296 (PKS 1333-33) have been reported in two previous papers (41.158.083; 42.158.200). In this paper the authors discuss the interpretation of these data and present a detailed analysis of the antiparallel radio jets of PKS 1333-33. Constraints on the density ratio, Mach number, and velocity of the jets are determined, and the dynamics of the jets are modeled; in particular, the spreading rate and the surface brightness evolution. The lateral oscillations of the jets are considered in the context of present analytic theories. The polarization properties of the source, namely the degree of polarization, the nature of the three-dimensional magnetic field and the rotation measure structure are interpreted.
