Two fields including the point sources of intermediate luminosity IRAS 06571-0441 (L ≃ 440 Lsun) and IRAS 06567-0350 (L ≃ 920 Lsun), which are associated with bipolar CO outflows, were studied by deep CCD imaging and longslit spectroscopy. Each point source is located in a dark lane (Av ≥ 20 mag) separating two lobes of reflection nebulosity. The reflected light consists mainly of Hα emission with a broad P Cygni-like profile, as is typical for Herbig AeBe stars and for classical T Tauri stars. We propose that this Hα emission arises in a rapidly expanding shell within few stellar radii around the unseen young stellar object, and that it is partly reabsorbed farther out by optically thick wind material moving outwards at somewhat lower velocity. The inferred velocities of these winds range from 85 to 120 km s-1.
