The two-point angular and spatial correlation functions are estimated for the CfA catalogue of groups of galaxies. The authors find that groups are distributed a little more randomly than galaxies, and the group-group correlation functions are about half of those of galaxies. The statistical results confirm the theoretical prediction, proposed very recently by Kashlinsky, of the theory of the hierarchical gravitational clustering.
