Using the inverse Compton (IC) technique, we have found some evidence that the particle energy tends to dominate the magnetic energy and that the magnetic field tends to be lower than 3 muG in these lobes. We propose here Chandra ACIS-S observations of two lobe-dominant, small, and distant radio galaxies, 3C 438 and 3C 62, both of which can potentially have sufficiently stronger magnetic fields than our previous targets under equipartition assumption. Our objective is to measure energy densities of particles and magnetic fields in their lobes, by detecting the IC X-rays. We basically expect that the particle dominance is achieved. However, we cannot rule out a possibility that an equipartition is realized, since the strong magnetic field will enhance the SR cooling.
