The Dunsink photometric data which are derived for large numbers of Cepheid variable stars in the Magellanic Clouds are discussed in terms of period, luminosity, and color. Among the factors that affect the photometric properties are the local reddening, the composition of the stars (metal abundance) and the stage in development of any Cepheid in successive crossings of the instability strip in the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram. Information on the average differences between stars in three regions, one in the SMC and two in the LMC, is given. The difference of true distance modulus between the two clouds in evaluated as 0.25 m + or - 0.06 m. Fitting individual star-brightness measurements derived from photographic photometry to light curves and comparison with published photoelectric data is illustrated for the Cepheid variable HV 902.
