Among the findings relating to X-ray bursts are the following: (1) newly discovered sources in proximity to the galactic center strengthen the argument for a strong concentration of bursters in the galactic center; (2) bursts from Cen X-4 and Aql X-1 prove that bursters are binaries with late type dwarfs and that they emit bursts when the accretion rate is in a certain range; and (3) burst profiles are of great variety and do not correlate with the flux of persistent emission. It is noted that double peaks were sometimes observed from five bursters for bursts of high peak luminosities (in addition to the four bursters with double peak bursts thus far observed). Also observed were more events of the super-Eddington burst. Neither an infrared nor a microwave burst was observed in coincidence with X-ray bursts from the rapid bursters.
