Using the Palomar Charts Survey, a search was made for Trapezium type multiple stars in 12 T-associations. Among the multiple stars in the T-associations under examination, the percentage of Trapezium type systems was found to be high, 85% of them being physical systems. Trapezium type close multiple systems have been identified as well as systems whose several components are variable stars. The relationship between Trapezium type multiple stars and dark nebulae is examined.
