New results for the electron temperatures of NGC 2024 and IC 434 have been obtained using observations from a two-beam, multimode, nebular-stellar photometer attached to a 48-inch Cassegrain reflector and the formula of Baudel (1970). The electron temperatures are plotted against the spectral types of the exciting stars. The results are in good agreement with Hjellming's (1968) theoretical predictions.
