An exact solution of the equations for magneto-acoustic-gravity (MAG) waves in a conductive isothermal atmosphere in the presence of a uniform oblique magnetic field is obtained. The solutions are expressed in terms of power series for waves propagating at an arbitrary angle to the field and in terms of the Meiher functions for K(y) = 0. The solutions are used to investigate linear transformation of MAG waves. The transformation and reflection of MAG waves is found to depend strongly on the field inclination. In an oblique field, a new type of transformation arises which admits the interconversion of slow magnetoacoustic and gravity waves. Transformation coefficients are obtained and used to calculate the transformation of the spectra of acoustic waves generated in the solar convective zone and propagating upwards in a region where the magnetic pressure is many times greater than the gas pressure.
