It is shown that the initially narrow pulse of emission scattered in a randomly-inhomogeneous medium with the power turbulence spectrum has the power-form tail part while in the case of emission scattering in the medium with one characteristic scale of inhomogeneities the tail part of the pulse is exponential. Measurements of the shape of the tail part of the pulse are suggested to be made in order to define the form of the turbulence spectrum of the interstellar medium.
