The efficiency of two low-plasma-beta electron reacceleration processes (Alfven resonance heating and dissipation by magnetic nonequilibrium) is discussed for ejections in the Galactic center (the Galactic-center lobe, the Galactic-center jet, and the low-energy jet), and order-of-magnitude calculations for the dissipated power are derived. The main characteristics of the three Galactic-center structures are presented. The physical background of the two investigated acceleration mechanisms is described. The present processes are applied to the elongated structures in the Galactic center and their possible relevance is discussed.
