Redshoft measurements were carried out in September 1989 with the 1.5-m ESO telescope for 19 galaxies in 10 Southern-Hemisphere rich clusters from the Abell Catalogue Southern Extension (Abell et al., 1989). The paper describes the type of spectra obtained and presents the results, which include the heliocentric radial velocity and its standard error for every galaxy, along with the galaxy coordinates accurate to about 1 arcsec.
